Campground Commander Customer Campgrounds are important to us, we understand their success trickles down to our success. We work together with our partner campgrounds to assure they are satisfied with our software.
Our developers are continuously updating and improving our reservation software according to the needs and “asks” of our customers
We understand the importance of customer input and encourage our customers to let us know new features that would make running their campgrounds more efficient
When a customer asks for a new feature it is placed on our Management/Developer communication list in priority of importance. As we move through those items in highest importance, we often contact our customers for their input on next items they would like us to add.
Weekly or bi-weekly emails are sent out to all of our customers letting them know new improvements/features that have been added to our software
Since our software is “Cloud Based”, updates are automatically pushed to ALL of our customers at no charge to them. An email is sent each week or bi-weekly to let customers know of updates.

The integration between cloud-based INEX Technologies’ ALPR-Based Visitor Management & Access Control System and Campground Commander Reservation enables the system to use vehicle license plates as reservation identification to operate gates automatically and to automatically check-out guests who left the grounds at the set time. Unlimited Number of Access Lists (Vendors, Employees, Visitors’ Guests, etc.)

Campground Commander chose Basys Processing for credit card processing for a number of reasons. Basys, like Campground Commander is family owned and managed and they provide our customers with exceptional rates, next day payouts and live customer service available 24/7. Their Clover POS product are easy to use and set up. Working together with Basys to provide our customers the optimal service, Basys offers our customers a choice of 2 deliveries for charging for their rates:

Monthly Fees + a percentage of all transactions that go through their system.
Surcharging (Least Expensive) – This is a flat rate pricing program to our merchants. The rate is 3.89% and there are no Monthly Fees or per item fees. This fee will be passed onto your camper customers as a “Surcharge Fee” during the payment process and the Surcharge Fee will go directly to Basys so you don’t have to pay Basys a thing to use their systems. This allows processing charges to be FREE to the campground. (Note- It is illegal at this time to surcharge on transactions paid with a debit card.) Anything swiped or chip reac on a terminal cannot be surcharged. Any reservation paid online or any transaction manually keyed can use the surcharge feature. With surcharging, your customers will not be assessed any fees from Basys except for debit transactions and Card Present transactions.
Note: Currently, several states have laws that prohibit or limit surcharging, including, Colorado (prohibition effective through 30 June 2022), Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, and Oklahoma.
